Dena Bank ups BPLR to 13.5 per cent

MUMBAI: Dena Bank said on Monday that it has increased its benchmark prime lending rate (BPLR) by 0.50 per cent to 13.5 with effect from Tuesday.
The bank has also increased its interest on domestic term deposits by 0.25-0.75 per cent for various maturities of 180 days and above with effect from July 4, a press release issued here stated.
Deposits for a maturity of two years and above will now earn an interest rate of nine per cent.
For senior citizens, an additional interest over and above the card rate would be paid at 0.50 per cent for a period of less than one year.
For one year to less than three years, an additional 0.75 per cent would be paid and for three years to less than five, an additional 0.50 per cent would be paid.
For a 5-10-year period, an additional 0.25 per cent would be paid, the release said.
The revised rates will also be applicable to all non-resident ordinary (NRO) Rupee deposits, the release said.
